Kingdom Principles

Kingdom Business Principles

Our code of conduct and the non-negotiable values that guide every member of the cohort—aligned with the same foundation as Kingdom Journeys.

The marketplace moves fast; shared principles protect trust, clarify expectations, and keep Jesus at the center of how we work, grow, and measure fruit—not as branding, but as guardrails for coaching and partnership.

Jesus is First and Central

We build businesses not for our own glory, but to make His name known. Every decision, partnership, and profit is subject to His Lordship.

ScriptureColossians 3:17 (ESV)
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Also consider

  • Matthew 6:24 — no one can serve two masters
  • 1 Corinthians 10:31 — do all to the glory of God
  • Proverbs 3:5–6 — trust the Lord, not lean on your own understanding

Holiness Over Hype

We value character over charisma and integrity over image. We refuse to compromise biblical truth for market trends.

Scripture1 Peter 1:15–16 (ESV)
As he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy.’

Also consider

  • Psalm 24:3–4 — clean hands and a pure heart
  • James 1:27 — religion pure and undefiled before God
  • Romans 12:2 — do not be conformed to this world

Obedience Over Performance

Success is defined by our obedience to God's call, not just by financial metrics. We trust Him with the results.

Scripture1 Samuel 15:22 (ESV)
Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.

Also consider

  • John 14:15 — if you love me, you will keep my commandments
  • Micah 6:8 — do justice, love kindness, walk humbly with God
  • Galatians 6:9 — do not grow weary in doing good

Depth Over Scale

We prioritize deep, transformative discipleship over wide, shallow reach. A healthy root system produces lasting fruit.

ScriptureJohn 15:5 (ESV)
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Also consider

  • Psalm 1:3 — planted by streams of water; leaf does not wither
  • Jeremiah 17:7–8 — blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord
  • Luke 8:15 — good soil — hold fast in an honest heart and bear fruit

Kingdom Impact Over Vanity Metrics

We measure success by lives changed, communities blessed, and the Gospel advanced, not just by likes, shares, or revenue.

ScriptureMatthew 6:33 (ESV)
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Also consider

  • 2 Corinthians 5:9 — aim to please him whether present or absent
  • Matthew 25:40 — as you did it to the least of these, you did it to me
  • James 2:14–17 — faith without works is dead
